  Up and coming soprano Annalise Belnap Webb has been awarded the ariZoni Theatre Award of Excellence for her portrayal of Eliza Doolittle in Hale Centre Theatre's 2014/2015 season production of My Fair Lady. Webb studied at the Brigham Young University and the Arizona State University. At these universities, she obtained a bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance and a master's degree in Opera Performance/Musical Theatre. In addition to earning many awards and prizes throughout the years, she has performed on stages around the world. She enjoys entertaining in many capacities. Whether it is classical concert works, operatic works, or musical theatre, she moves between the different musical genres with elegance and strength. She has been praised for her "clarion voice" and the way that she commands the stage.

 

  For this 2017/2018 season Webb is excited for her debut at the Gaslight Music Hall of Oro Valley as Venus Starbright in the hilarious audience-participation comedy musical murder mystery Murder at Cactus Casino. Other roles include the title role in Mary Poppins, Eliza Doolittle (My Fair Lady), Christine Daaé (Yeston & Kopit's Phantom), and Miss Wordsworth (Albert Herring). As well as mainstage productions, Webb has enjoyed collaborating with other musicians on art song cycles, chamber works, and original compositions such as John Greer's Liebeslied - Lieder for vocal quartet and piano, four hands and Rob Gardner's Cinematic Pop.
